After seeing an incredibly gorgeous pickle-laden sandwich on the cover of Gourmet, I’ve been finding any excuse to add a pickle to a sandwich.  This time, Willem insisted on trying the pickle juice.

11 months + 1 day since my last ride.  Wow, I’m slow. And wow I’m sore.

Whew, bit of a blogging break there.  Life’s been busy.

Here we have some photos with the new (birthday) lens.  Thanks Nancy & Grandma.  (Thankfully my aunt is also a photographer and included a lens filter with the new lens – very kind, and much appreciated.)

I’m drinking a Gimlet, Gypsy is pan frying some halibut and I have a new lens.  Happy birthday to me!
