Nels’s bike was one of the greatest bargains ever.  Clearance at Target: $20.  And it’s called Major Damage.

This Is A Good Teacher

Happy Valentine’s Day, I Guess

It’s [most of] a marzipan pig.

My ambivalence over Valentine’s Day has reach its peak.  Peak ambivalence.

The boys are heading off to Grandma’s and we’re headed downtown, so I can’t complain.  Possibly happy hour at Clark Lewis, possibly the Japanese gardens, possibly a museum.  Likely a good time.  I’m taking my camera.

Get well, Andrew.

Listening to LCD Soundsystem 45:33.  It’s good.

Along with early-morning photography, you won’t see many soft waterfall photos here, but as part of my self-taught Photography 101 course, I had to do it once.

Yesterday we hopped in the van and headed for the hills hoping to do some hiking on Silver Star Mountain, but the snow was too deep and we didn’t quite make it.  We drove up Washougal River Road instead.  Maybe Gypsy will tell you about it. :)

The Washougal River is beautifully turquoise in spots.

There will be more.
