Not sure about the levers - I think it just gives you another position in which to brake effectively, which I think is important with the crazy cyclocross courses.  And often they&#039;ll put the back brake on the left so when they&#039;re dismounting at 20mph and hanging off the left side of the bike they can brake with only their left hand on the bars.</description>

		<description>I went to a woodworking show at the Expo ctr and they routed us thru where these people were coming out of the event.  I probly passed you at some point.  One guy was in the middle of the road where there was a big puddle, splashing water up onto his bike in an effort to get some of the mud off.  I see that many of them have two sets of brake levers.  How come?  Is that unique to cyclocross?</description>
